Hardware Mounting

Different hardware mounting options are available depending on the type of scan head used. In general, the following options are the following.

• QuikLok Mounting
• JS-25 Drop-in Upgrade
• Direct to Scan Frame

Electrical Connections

JS-50 scan heads use a single Power over Ethernet (PoE) capable connector that provides power and 10 Gigabit per second network connection to simplify cable management. The ethernet cable has a X-Code M12 connection on one end that connects to the scan head and a RJ45 connection on the other to other networking hardware.

Panel LEDs

Three LEDs are grouped together on the scan head's body and help to relay basic information to developers and users out in the mill.

• Status: Green LED that stays solid when power is applied.
• Link: Yellow LED that blinks with presence of network traffic.
• ScanSync: Blue LED that stays solid when ScanSync is connected to the JS-50 scan head.
